Athletic Media Relations Intern (October 2019-present)

During the PC men’s basketball season, I assist the sports information team at every home game and remotely for every away game. I write a comprehensive game recap for Friars.com and help with many game-day responsibilities.

My offseason responsibilities include writing the season outlook and editing team reference materials, such as the media guide and prospectus.


Naismith Awards

Social Media Intern (October 2022-present)

I create original men’s basketball social media content for the Naismith Awards, the most prestigious awards in college and high school basketball. I am the first high school student to ever be selected for the internship.

Medill-Northwestern Journalism Institute

In the summer of 2022, I participated in the prestigious Medill-Northwestern Journalism Institute for rising high school seniors, a four-week online program. My instructor was J.A. Adande, the Director of Sports Journalism at Medill.

Sports Illustrated Kids

Kid Reporter (2017-18)

In 2017, I was selected as one of 15 students around the world for the one-year Kid Reporter program. During the year, I caught up with former North Carolina Tar Heels star Justin Jackson ahead of the 2017 NBA Draft and showed readers a day in the life of Providence College men’s basketball coach Ed Cooley, along with several other stories and interviews.
